Head Coach John Tillman
Widely considered one of the top young coaches in the country and a dynamic recruiter, John Tillman was hired as the University of Maryland's head men's lacrosse coach on June 16, 2010, becoming the ninth coach in the history of the program.
During his first two seasons at Maryland, Tillman has guided the Terps to back-to-back NCAA title games and the 2011 ACC Championship.
Prior to coming to College Park, Tillman was the head coach at Harvard for three seasons. His last recruiting class for the Crimson was rated No. 3 in the nation, according to Inside Lacrosse.
Prior to Harvard, Tillman spent 12 seasons at Navy. After six seasons as an assistant coach, he was promoted to head assistant coach and offensive coordinator prior to the 2002 season. From 2004 through 2007, Tillman helped lead the Midshipmen to the some of the most successful seasons in program history, including a run to the 2004 NCAA Championship game.
